Organization
Registration fees for ESS members, students and non-ESS members will include access to the conference and exhibition rooms, all lunches, coffee-breaks and dinners from Monday 15^th to Thursday 19^th noon.  This will also include small events and surprises, especially the social program on Wednesday and the gala dinner at the Vauban citadel, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 2008! http://www.citadelle.com/en/

Please note that the optional tour is in addition to the conference for the guests wishing to stay Thursday afternoon to discover Besançon countryside (and especially the vineyards and the jura countryside). The price will include the tour and the evening dinner. It will be possible to make the registration separately at any time.

How to become a member? nothing is simpler: choose the registration fees for members (460 €). This price will include the membership fees for the next two years, and we will transfer all the information to the European Society of Sonochemistry for the registration (after collecting your formal approval by email before). If you refuse the membership and the transmission of your information to the society, simply choose the price for non-members (560 €). The membership statue is valid for a period of two years, which expires at the Meeting date. So even if you were a member before, you have to pay for the period to come.

Students situation: we have made a special effort to welcome Master and PhD students, with a registration fees reduced to 260 euros (a copy of a valid student card will be requested for the payment).

Single day registration: to extend the participation to regional industrial partners, registration is possible for one single day (registration fees 100 €). To make easier the choice of the selected date, the program is structured to regroup all contributions concerning given topics on the same day.

- TUESDAY: Surface treatment/Cleaning /Interfaces

- WEDNESDAY: Materials/Nanoparticles

Please keep in mind that the final program will depend of the submission and selection process, that a single day registration does not allow to give an oral communication, and that the social event will take place on Wednesday afternoon.

Abstract submission

The scientific committee of the European Society of Sonochemistry warmly invites you to prepare a contribution by submitting a 1-2pages abstract in English on the conference website. The program will include invited plenary lectures, keynote lectures, oral and poster contributions in the following topics which will define the sessions:

- Surface treatment/Cleaning /Interfaces

- Materials/Nanoparticles

- Fundamentals aspects

- Ultrasonic Processing

Deadlines for abstract submission: January 31^st 2018 - Acceptance notification: February 15^th 2018.

Location and accommodation

Besançon is a middle size city located in the East of France, close to the Swiss border http://www.besancon-tourisme.com/en/. The conference will be held in the Kursaal conference center in Besançon downtown http://www.besancon.fr/index.php?p=413, at walking distance for many hotels. Delegates will find all comfort to spend their scientific and recreation moments.

Equipment of services exposition

Boots will be available for exposition in room were all coffee-breaks and most of the lunches and dinner will be taken together.
